Governing in an era of distrust

In this session the Secretary of the Department of Premier and Cabinet, Chris Eccles, will discuss the important role public trust plays in designing policy and determining success. Chris will talk about the difficult nature of public trust as easy to lose and hard to gain, and highlight current efforts to sustain public trust through excellence, integrity and accountability.

Participants will develop an understanding of what it takes to govern in times of distrust and an overview of key initiatives currently occurring in the VPS that will impact trust.
