Hacking the future public sector workforce and workplace

As the fastest growing and most culturally diverse community in Australia, Victoria is in a unique position to lead the discussion on the future of our public sector workforce and workplaces.

Over the next 15-20 years, the public sector at local, Victorian and Commonwealth levels will undergo a radical transformation, driven by factors including digital transformation, changing community expectations about service delivery, and a rapidly growing community. And Public Sector Week offers a unique setting to reflect on these changes – bringing together a panel of industry-leading thinkers and doers to participate in a cutting-edge hackathon on the future face of our workforce.

In 2030, what kind of population will we serve – and how? What services will change, and what will this mean for how we think about jobs and the way we work together? Join the dynamic facilitators from the Nous Group as they lead an energetic ‘live hack’ on the public sector workplace of the future.

This uniquely interactive event will look at the technologies and practices that are likely to drive our sector in future – ensuring that we continue to develop some of Australia’s most connected, cost-effective and citizen-centric services.
